Steve was a quiet, unassuming guy who could always see the lighter side of things. We played a lot of good basket -ball together. Through our twelve yrs. of school he was always a good friend. He will be missed.
Comments:
Although many from the Veterans' Home who want to be at the service today will not be able to travel to Delphi, Steve will be in our thoughts, especially at Bible Study today today. May his family find comfort and peace and strength from the Lord. That's what Steve would ask for. Everyone at the Veterans' Home would say Steve was a kind, simple, straight forward, and decent person. It was an honor for me to call him my friend, and a pleasure. We will remember his smile, his laugh, and his considerate attitude. We have no doubt that he is where he wanted to be... (like Steve would say,) "in a much better place." Absent in body, present with the Lord. Rest in peace, Steve.

Steve was my cousin and always treated me with kindness .I still remember his really bad car wreck that put him in a wheel chair .I miss all my cousins and the fun we had as children .

Steve and I served in the same branch of the military around the same time. Steve was always ready with a smile and a handshake. We would share our stories of our time in the Air Force. Steve was a good guy!!

So sorry for your loss. I had just seen Steve on Sun. getting ready to go in for Bingo. I always enjoyed talking to him every day when I cleaned the rooms up on Mitchell 3AB. He will be greatly missed.
Comments:
every morning here at the Veterans Home Steve would come down from his room in Mitchell to get the morning paper, and he would see me and holler"hi Steve". Thats the reason we became friends, because my name is Steve too. I'm also going to miss his smile. God has Himself a wonderful "angel" Thanks for the memories,Steve
Comments:
We are volunteers at the Ind Vet Home and on Tues Steve would greet us with a wonderful smile and my hubby would give him a pack of cheese crackers and Steve would wait till I gave him a big hug. He was a gentle man that we will miss very much and so will everyone at the,"Home".

Steve was a kind gentleman with a heart of gold. He was always able to find the good in any situation. IVH and the community have lost a good man and Steve will be missed!
Comments:
Steve Myers will be missed here at the Veterans' Home. He will be remembered as a man who loved to take a walk each day, drink Diet Coke, read the newspaper and Bible, and talk with friends. He was a simple, friendly and gracious man who attended Chapel, devotions and Bible study at IVH faithfully. He was a loyal friend.

We are saying Goodbye today to one of the Sweetest, most Loving and Giving men God ever put on this earth, always Happy, and doing whatever he could for Others. If there were more men like Fin, this world would be a better place. His smiling face, and wit, will be missed by many, however, the many who passed before him have missed him too. One of the Greatest.
