Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Oliveri, 78, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at 11:13 am on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at IU Arnett in Lafayette. Tony was born to the late Anthony Oliver Sr., and Josephine (Rizzo) Oliveri, on May 3, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. On June 22, 1968, Tony married the love of his life Charlene (O’Neill) Oliveri, who survives.

Tony graduated from Willowbrook High School in 1964. After graduating, Tony enlisted in the Army for four years. In his free time Tony loved spending time at the shooting range. He was an active member of the NRA and a proud supporter of the Wildcat Club in Brookston. Tony had worked in technology and sales, where he created his own computer software packages that specialized in accounting and inventory management. Tony was also a train enthusiast, and enjoyed tinkering and working on his model train collection.

Surviving Tony include his sons; Michael (Melissa) Oliveri, Chuck (Kaci) Oliver, grandchildren; Timothy Oliveri, Patrick Oliveri, and Lillian Oliveri. Tony was preceded in death by a brother; John Oliveri.
