Jeffrey Wagner

Jeffrey Allen Wagner, 64, of Delphi, passed away on August 3, 2023. Jeff was born in Delphi on March 13, 1959, to Jerry and Carolyn (Talbert) Wagner. Jeff graduated from Delphi High School and later went on to study at Purdue.

Jeff was currently working at Caterpillar as an engineer where his designs earned several patents.

In his free time Jeff loved everything racing and going fast. He was known for racing anything that had an engine and especially watching racing. Jeff also had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. His favorite past time was spending time with all of his nieces and nephews, and watching them play sports during school. Jeff never missed any of his nieces or nephews’ games, and loved them dearly and enjoyed watching them grow up.

Surviving Jeff include his parents; Jerry and Carolyn (Wagner), a daughter; Hayley Wagner, son; Garret Wagner, sister; Tammy (John) Toleno, brothers; Joel (Terri) Wagner, Kyle (Suzanne) Wagner, Niece’s; Lauren (Robert) Van Thiel, Caitlyn (Chris) Toleno, Megan Wagner, Madison Wagner, Nephew’s; Parker (Rebecca) Munson, Christopher (Emma) Toleno, Jordan (Caitlyn) Wagner, Peyton (Ashley) Wagner, Great Niece; Ella Van Thiel, great nephews; Hudson and Hendrix Wagner, and a grandson; River.

Jeff was preceded by a son; Justin Wagner.

A funeral service celebrating Jeffrey’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday August 7, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Duke officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic cemetery in Delphi. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions in Jeff’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
