Obituary

Roger D. Davis, 61, of Galveston, Indiana, passed away on Sept. 8, 2022 in Kokomo, Indiana surrounded by family. He was born Oct. 31, 1960 to the late Stephen Davis II and Marilyn (Kerr) Davis of Ashley, Michigan. He grew up in Ashley and graduated from Ashley High School in 1978. He later earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Roger enjoyed helping others. He always had a kind word to lift someone’s spirits or a joke to get a good laugh. Roger loved music. He could often be found playing his guitar and singing to entertain loved ones. More than anything, Roger loved his family and friends. He cherished each moment they shared.

Roger is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sarah (Gottschalk) Davis; son, Jesse Davis (Laura); Daughters, Mandy Neat (Jacob), Natasha Cavanaugh (Stephen); son, Jeremy Owen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Cindy Gottschalk; sister, Joanne Davis-Woods, and 10 beloved grandchildren.
