Obituary

Roxie M. Veach, 80 of Delphi, passed away on January 25, 2023 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. Roxie was born in Colburn, Indiana on April 6, 1942 to the late Orth and Dorothea (Kauffman) Pattengale. She was a graduate of East Tipp High School. She married Roy E. Veach on Nov. 15, 1964 at the Delphi Presbyterian Church. He survives.

Roxie retired from the Flora Dime Store as Assistant Manager.

She was a member of the Rockfield Christian Church.

Along with her husband, Roy E. Veach she is survived by her son, Troy Veach (Randie) of Delphi; sister, Wilma Davis of Colburn; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded by her parents; son, Thomas E. Veach, and grandson Todd Veach; sisters: Shirley and Leora Belle.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. The funeral service will be at Davidson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 with Pastor Erick Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in Rockfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Shriners Hospital.
